Showing off his new notebook...
He was only in his last class for a few months, but they moved every class up, so it was a quick transition. His last teacher said he was totally ready, so I am slightly curious as to what they will be doing in this class. I really, really like the teachers so far. I know that both of them have been here for a good while, and the class was very organized (which means a lot to me!) They were very attentive and told me what they were expecting the kids to learn this year and I was so excited. Nolan had to bring a composition notebook that would stay in the class so that we could watch his handwriting progress throughout the year. He will also be getting a homework folder to take home every Friday which will be due the following Friday. Homework at 3/4 years old makes me a little nervous, but I loved school so I hope he will too :)
So excited on the way to school!
The schedule is basically the same, except most things they do in this class are about 30 minutes behind his old class. Thankfully, they still take naps because let's be honest; with this kid's energy levels we need a BREAK on the weekends still - ha!
He looked so adorable and was SO excited for class today. He is just such a happy guy and I hope that this year will be a great year of learning, growing, and becoming prepared to kick Kindergarten's bottom (we don't say "butt") next year! :)
A reward for a great first day!
He even got TWO award tickets today! They hand out what look like raffle tickets each time the children behave well or get questions correct. I was so proud with two! Once he hits ten he gets to go to the Treasure Chest, and I am sure he will reach that in no time :)
