I am noticing a lot more fatigue lately, which I know is common, but is still very hard for me to deal with. Usually, I have a to-do list a mile long, and can accomplish a lot on the weekends. Now, I still have the same to-do list, but I accomplish a lot less - ha. I am sure this will be the name of the game from here on out - and the next 18 years or so too! :)
I am also experiencing a lot more contractions and ligament pain in my stomach, but can usually take care of those by resting. I can't imagine what it will be like the day when they are actually "real" contractions versus "practice" ones - eek!
P (Pounds gained/lost) - Lost 2.5, which puts me around 9 pounds total still. Not exactly sure how that happened, but that's what they said!
R (Really missing) - My energy! Oh, and being able to walk at my normal pace :) I don't exactly have a waddle yet, but sometimes a contraction really makes me have to pee, so I may walk a little funny...
E (Eating this) - Eating pretty healthy and balanced, with some occasional splurges again :) I treated myself to a gravy biscuit this morning at the hospital - it's going to be dangerous if I have a long stay there when little man arrives!
G (Gotta … ) - Get to work in the nursery now that it's cleared out - yay!
N (Not gonna lie) - Being a first time mom comes with a whole range of emotions when you are pregnant. I try to balance out my fears with rational facts, but sometimes you just don't know what is happening inside your body, and you worry! Just 6 more weeks until he is full-term, and each little pain won't seem so scary :)
A (About Puddin’) - Puddin' is the size of a coconut by now, which sounds strange to me. The coconuts I see in the store seem smaller than a cabbage (which he was last week), but that's food analogies for you! He should measure around 16 inches long, and weigh anywhere from 3.3 - 4 pounds (I see different weights on each thing I read). He can turn his head from side to side, and is beginning to plump up and get some baby rolls on his little body. The student doctor thinks he is in a sideways position right now, and I think so too. And, I think his back is out towards my belly button, because all of the kicks and jabs I feel come way deep in my stomach, and not on the surface. I have fun now watching the waves he causes in my stomach when he moves, and I even saw some hiccups from the outside yesterday - I could watch it all day!
N (Never forget this) - Getting his dresser out of the box, and putting the stroller together. It's starting to get so real!
Y (Yet to come … ) - Hopefully getting his closet, blinds, and closet doors installed in the nursery this weekend - lots to do!
