We were so thankful that we requested that Nolan end up on the same team as our neighbor and another friend from Church, and they honored our request! They said they really try to make sure the kids enjoy themselves and we are so happy about that. Our neighbor and other friend from Church are the coaches as well, so this should be fun!
Turns out, Nolan's team this season is the Braves, so you know Anthony was happy about that :)
We have been practicing a lot, and Nolan has all of the gear he needs. Of course I used this as a chance for a little surprise set up, and he was thrilled. I also used titi Sammi's talents and had tags made for his teammates so that I could give each one a special little treat on opening day. I volunteered for snacks the first game, so it was a perfect time to hand them out!
The first game was FREEZING, but the boys were so excited that they didn't seem to mind. Nolan had some great hits and I was able to get some pics of his first run ever!
