Mudcats Game + Walking on the Field

As part of the registration price for T-ball this year, two tickets to the Mudcats game were included and this past weekend we got to use them!  Apparently, the T-ball organization does a Little League day where the players get to walk out on the field before the game and then we had a whole section to ourselves to sit near each other to watch the game.

It also happened to be Star Wars night, so that made it even cooler!  There were tons of characters walking around, and the kids got wookie beards when they first walked in - ha!

We got there early and lined up for the boys to each walk out with their respective teams.  It was a bit chaotic to start, but the boys didn't seem to mind :)

I mean, I just can't...he is the CUTEST thing ever.

Nolan and his buddies...I hope they always get to be on the same teams!

I wasn't able to get a ton of good shots while they were on the field since my phone wouldn't zoom in that far, but there is a blurry one of him near the end of the walk.  They walked out through the outfield, then came down the center line and stood around the edge of the diamond to sing the national anthem and all that fun stuff.

He's a celebrity!

I really could NOT get over how great our seats were - they were directly behind home plate on the upper deck.  Super awesome seats.
My favorite picture.

Nolan stayed entertained somewhat throughout the game, but had a ton of fun with his buddies and walking around with Daddy down below.  It took forever to get food, so a hot dog was worth 45 minutes!  We made it until the bottom of the last inning and decided to head home to beat the crowds (which is a hilarious statement considering we used to go to Braves games in Atlanta...)  It turned out to be perfect timing because the final fireworks went off right as we drove past where they shoot them off, so we got a front row seat!  So much fun with by little man... I can't wait for this night each season!
