22 Week Repeat Ultrasound

I had my follow-up ultrasound yesterday (Thursday), to see if they could get the rest of the anatomy pictures of Puddin's heat that they needed.

I told the ultrasound tech (again) that we didn't know the sex of the baby just yet, so be careful!  She told me that she calls everything "he" in that case, so Puddin' was a "he" for this ultrasound.

Again, Puddin' seemed quite comfortable, and was labeled a "stubborn" baby because even after lots of belly-shaking, he/she wouldn't move for more pictures!  I told the nurse Puddin' gets that after my husband (bold-faced lie, but he wasn't there to defend himself) :)

It was a great appointment anyway, and we got to see Puddin' going to town sucking his/her thumb, a yawn, and even some more cute shots of feet and hands.  I do hate that Anthony missed this one, because it was so eventful!  It was surreal to see those actions happening, and to know that at any given time Puddin' is in there doing that stuff!

Below is a picture of our thumb-sucker (hopefully this phase will pass quickly) :)

These are essentially the same photo; baby's head is to the left, and you see the profile of the face and then the little arm bent up to the mouth.

Even though they couldn't get every single shot they hoped for, that had enough to feel confident that Puddin' is A-Ok and healthy.

And in even MORE good news - my placenta previa has miraculously cleared itself in two weeks!  I mentioned to the tech that I was diagnosed with moderate previa two weeks ago, and she looks at the screen and said, "No you don't.  There is no way!"  Amazingly, the doctor came in to report that everything had indeed moved plenty far enough away so that we do not have to worry about this anymore and I don't even need to go back at 32 weeks to make sure.  Wow!  God is good!
