Anyway - as soon as it's "styled" I will take the pictures I have been talking about for the last three weeks :)
But with that, I have been feeling pretty rough this week, and ended up with a trip to Labor and Delivery on Tuesday. I will detail that in a different post - it was sorta scary, but also a learning experience, I suppose.
(Actually taken at 22w1d - oops)
P (Pounds gained/lost) - No clue, but I felt like my stomach actually looked "smaller" the other day. Guess it was baby's positioning, but I don't feel like I have gained a bunch this week.
R (Really missing) - A nice cold beer after a long day's work. There, I said it :)
E (Eating this) - Pretty much normal eating, with a major craving for a Dairy Queen Oreo Blizzard the other day. And yes, I indulged!
G (Gotta … ) - Learn to rest and let things "be." Worst lesson in the world for me, but I know it will come in handy once this baby gets here!
N (Not gonna lie) - I told Anthony the other morning (as I was caulking baseboards at 8:00 a.m.) I am FULLY cured of ever wanting to buy an old house and fix it up! I am fine with building a house from scratch that I don't have to live in until it's done, but I don't want to live through more renovations ever again. But, I know I am guilty of cramming a lot in at one time, so it could be my own fault :)
A (About Puddin’) - Puddin' is a mover and a shaker! I still can't feel everything, but I have noticed that some little jabs and kicks are starting to become more pronounced. I also learned at my repeat ultrasound (which I will detail in another post), that Puddin' is now breach. And I swear I know the exact point when he/she flipped during the middle of the night some nights ago - whoa nelly, that felt ODD. He/she is now the size of a butternut squash, and it amazes me that something that large is residing in my stomach sometimes! Looking like a miniature newborn, Puddin' needs to gain some pounds to fill out the wrinkly pink skin it now has. The colored part of the eye (the iris) has no pigment yet, but I bet they will be chocolate brown like Daddy's :). He/she is covered in a fine hair called lanugo, and the pancreas is developing slow and steady.
N (Never forget this) - My slight scare and going to Labor and Delivery long before I needed to be there.
C (Can’t wait for) - Everything! The next few things we have coming up this Summer are sure to be so much fun - just hope I can keep up! Most importantly, I am just so excited to have lots of family and friends in town next weekend - they are my life!
Y (Yet to come … ) - Gender reveal in t-minus 9 days!
