School Pictures!

These make me chuckle :)  I knew it was a long shot that his hair would stay put by the time he had his pictures taken, and I was right - it didn't!  Too funny.  I actually even wet it that morning and used a bit of hairspray that I sprayed on my brush, but that's no match for wild man.

I love these though - and it's something I am slowly learning about being a Mom.  Of course you want every picture and every occasion and each thing to run smoothly and turn out perfectly, but that's not how life is.  Life is as it's meant to be, and even those crazy days and funny-haired school pictures are all just a part of it - and it's great.  I know I will look back one day when he is 18 and grown and will still smile at my sweet little boy with the wild hair.

 

...And I think we have had our fill of fake ivy for a lifetime ;)
