20 Months!

Welp, I don't have much detail for this past month, and I guess it's because life has been a bit hectic lately!

I usually will record little "milestones" as the month goes along, but this month it sort of got away from me.  I do remember a few little things, but mostly we spent our time traveling and with the kids.  I can for sure say that we are done adding to our brood - 3 kids in the house at one time is plenty :):)

If any further proof is needed... :)

But back to little man - he is so much fun, and still oh so cuddly!  He is particular about who gets his kisses, but luckily I can get them all the time :)  I especially love to get him up either in the morning (which Anthony does during the week), or after naptime on the weekends.  If you catch him just right, you could spend another 10-20 minutes just cuddling in his rocker.  He will sit there and snuggle and then will want to read either his "Bible" or some of his other books.

Eating:  He has taken a bit of an eating strike since the kids got here, and I am not sure exactly why.  Things he used to love, he won't touch, or will barely eat anything at a meal.  I know kids go thru phases, and I hope it's just a phase - sometimes I worry that he isn't getting all of the nutrients he needs, but I don't know how else to get him to eat.  I hope we aren't heading down the mac 'n cheese/chicken nugget trail, because I never feed him those and he was such a great all-around eater as a baby.  Oh well, we will see where this new phase takes us!

Physical: He is still just as rambunctious and fearless as ever!  He gets his usual share of boo boo's at daycare, and now will refer to them as "boo boo's."  I got him his own Band-Aids to use, just for fun.  He got quite a big goose egg at school on week, and that one was a little concerning, but it faded quickly and he seemed to be okay once I picked him up from school.  He still has a little scar on his head from where it was scraped, but I hope that will fade soon too.

Development:  It really is amazing how kids will not change much for a few weeks, and then learn like a million new things in one day!  His language/speech is one of these things: he says so many words now, and is getting better at repeating a word when we say it.  Some of his favorite words right now are: NO (ha, imagine that), lawnmower, bubbles, eat, hot, cold, ice, brudda (brother).  I can understand him really well in context, and some other words take a bit of time to figure out.

Sleep: With a bout of a cold at the beginning of the month and Jacob and Lexie arriving, sleep has been rough.  I am amazed at what a "no sleeper" we have.  Mommy and Daddy are just trying to survive, and thankfully Daddy pulls the most "all nighters!"

There are a few other recaps I need to touch on, so I will save what few pictures I have for those!
