Cheers to Seven Years!

We celebrated our SEVENTH wedding anniversary this past weekend, and holy moly that seemed quick!  It seriously feels like yesterday that we were celebrating our 5th anniversary having just moved to NC, but that was already two years ago! 

We had a great easy day at home, but decided to take Nolan to a hibachi place for our anniversary dinner.  We figured he would love it, and once we told him that ninjas were going to be cooking our dinner, he was all over it :)

Somehow, the boys ended up with matching Johnny Cash t-shirts, so I insisted that they wear them for our date - and that they take pictures in them.  Nolan wasn't very cooperative, but that's par for the course these days!

We had a great dinner and just as we suspected, Nolan loved it.  He was completely entertained the whole time and ate a great meal!  He even lobster for the first time and loved it.  He has had shrimp before, I think, but I was completely surprised at how much he loved the lobster.  He takes after his daddy, that's for sure!

 

Gotta love the "cheese face" that is making its way into all of our family pictures nowadays.  Too funny.  Here's to plenty more anniversaries, my love!
