35 Week Appointment

God answered my prayers this week, and luckily, it was a much better appointment than two weeks ago!  I was a bit nervous today, giving my situation at my last appointment, but Anthony was able to go with me this time and I think that made it better.

My only concern this week was the amount of Braxton-Hicks contractions I have been having lately.  They are beginning to hurt more, and last a lot longer.  Yesterday was especially tough, but I am beginning to realize that everything is tied to how well-rested I am.  Blood pressure, contractions, etc. all seem to go nuts when I am exhausted, so I went to bed an hour earlier last night and that has seemed to help (not lying that I still could have slept in this morning, but that's every morning!)

The good news is that even though they are painful/annoying, they aren't coming with an regularity, and that is what they would be most concerned about.  She said that until I get them every five  minutes for an hour, to not worry.  Good - so Puddin' can do this for another few weeks!  It will be hard, but worth it!  She also said that if I do happen to go into labor now, they would not try to stop it.  We are past the point of extreme risk for being pre-term, so each day is another blessing towards full term!

Some stats:

For me:

Weight gained: None.  I have read that you can actually lose a couple of pounds towards the end, and I may be on this trend.  Either that or my lack of appetite has caused me to not gain any weight in the last two weeks.  Still holding at 12 pounds total.

Blood Pressure: 103/67 I think.  This was actually the lowest it has ever been.  Much better than last time, which we are chalking up to a fluke and being tired.

Fundal height: Between 35 and 36, which is exactly where it is supposed to be.  Little man is still growing in there!

For Puddin':

Heartbeat: 130's.  Thankfully, we didn't hear any weird drops or anything like that this time!  We heard a normal fluctuation, but nothing to be concerned about.
