Bumpdate: 35 Weeks

This past week has had a bit of ups and downs, but overall has been pretty good!  As with anything, there are days when I feel better than others.  I tried to run a bunch of errands on Saturday, and shop for Puddin's coming home outfit, but didn't get very far and ended up being pretty silly and emotional the rest of the night (Hello, emotional hijacking!)  It's crazy, because there are times when you can feel just fine and not have a care in the world, but you will still feel like crying - it's like PMS x 1,000.  Goes with the territory I suppose, and luckily, I have kept it together for the most part (and that's saying a lot considering I am normally a very emotional non-pregnant person). :)

Sunday I kicked butt and got pretty much everything of his washed, folded, organized, and put away.  I could just die over the adorable clothes and socks.  It's exciting to think about getting him dressed and seeing him these little items, and hard to believe that they are just that small!  There are only a couple more things I need to do in there, and Anthony is going to shampoo the carpets one last time this weekend.  We have a stock of diapers, wipes, and mostly all the gear, so little man is prepared!  This, I must say, alleviates a lot of stress for me; I am a habitual over-planner, and knowing we would be all set should he come any day, makes me relax.

As I mentioned in my last post, I have lost my appetite recently, and this still continues.  It's hard for me to find anything that sounds appetizing to eat, and generally I am just not hungry all that much.  Usually, I would be starving by the time I got to work to eat or by lunch time, but now I make myself get something down.  Going to ask the doctor about this on Friday, but I am sure it's just a normal part of being super pregnant :)

Puddin' continues to create monster waves when he moves, and it's so comforting to feel him in there, kicking away (even though my internal organs may not like it so much).  We were at dinner Friday  night and Anthony could see him going to town from across the table - he was dancing in there for sure!  They say he is running out of room and that his movements may decrease a bit, but so far, that has not happened!  I continually underestimate how far my belly sticks out, and will bump it on anything in my way: closet doors, the grocery cart, you name it!

P (Pounds gained/lost) - Doctor appointment this Friday, will know for sure then!  I would guess another typical gain of 2-3 pounds...

R (Really missing) - Food.

E (Eating this) - See above.  Thankfully, I am still not getting heartburn!

G (Gotta … ) - Get my hospital bags packed; I have everything together almost, just not in a bag.

N (Not gonna lie) - I am turning into a hermit.  I will usually even turn down going to eat, which if you know me, know that's a crazy thought!  I guess I am just tired and would rather cuddle on the couch than put myself together to go out.  I think Anthony may be a little stir crazy by now... :)

A (About Puddin’) - Another fruit this week!  Puddin' should be about the size of a honeydew melon (how that is any bigger than a cantaloupe from last week beats me), and weighs around 5 1/4 pounds and will be over 18 inches long.  Not a ton more developmentally is left to do from here on out; just gain weight!  However, his kidneys should be fully developed now, and his liver is able to process some waste.  Just more good news that he is getting close to fully-cooked!  Only 2 more weeks until full term - saying my prayers!

N (Never forget this) - Yeah, missing our Infant CPR class because I thought it was this past Tuesday and it was definitely Monday instead :(  Worst case of pregnancy brain fail yet!  I hope we can reschedule, because this was the class I felt we needed it the most!

C (Can’t wait for) -  Maternity pictures this Saturday, and hoping for a good hair day.  Priorities, people ;)

Y (Yet to come … ) - A bit more work, and then hopefully some relaxing weekends with the hubby!

And just for fun: another comparison of 15, 25, and 35 weeks - whoa.
