With that, it's been full steam ahead working in the nursery and getting all the last minute items purchased. The nursery is looking great, and is almost finished! I still have to organize the closet and wash all his clothes this weekend, but other than that, it's pretty much done. Leslee will be bringing the bedding she is making for him down on the 28th, and I can't wait to see it!
Both of us have been doing great this past week. I have felt good, and Puddin' has been moving more than I have ever felt before. Still no idea what position he is in, as I feel like he has 8 arms and kicks and rolls all over the place.
I am getting bad about taking my bump pictures right on my weekly turn date: this one below was actually taken at 34w4d - oops. And, I took it at 10:00 right after eating dinner - not my best moment :) I am also going to have to find another bump picture "outfit" as these are both not maternity clothes and are super tight!
P (Pounds gained/lost) - Not sure, have an appointment on the 13th!
R (Really missing) - Energy - blah.
E (Eating this) - I have noticed a decrease in my appetite over the last several days, not sure what that is about. It's not that I am running out of room (because when I eat, I eat), but I just don't have a taste for anything and find myself not hungry as often. Sometimes I make myself eat just because I know Puddin' needs it!
G (Gotta … ) - Get the baby clothes washed and my hospital bag packed!
N (Not gonna lie) - I have one teeny tiny stretch mark I think, and I am watching it like a hawk! Here's to hoping it doesn't stretch during these last few weeks :/
A (About Puddin’) - Puddin' should be measuring almost 18 inches long now, and weigh somewhere around 5 or so pounds (everything I read is different). Supposedly he is the size of a cantaloupe, but I have never seen an 18-inch long cantaloupe before! He is still filling out fat deposits under his skin, and should look pretty smooth and pinkish by now. His lungs are steadily maturing, and I was delighted to read that most babies born at 34 weeks (with no other problems) will generally do just fine. Not that I want him to come early, but it's a bit reassuring to read that at least!
N (Never forget this) - Just the realization that we are in the home stretch. Sometimes, it's like where did the time go?!
Y (Yet to come … ) - More nursery prep - I love this stuff!
