Bumpdate: 37 Weeks

Well we all know I am full term based on my previous blog post, so I won't have to say it again, but I am just so darn excited!

I have actually felt pretty great this past week.  We attended our last child class on Friday night, and I have to say that even though I really learned a lot from all of the classes we have taken, I am glad to be done!  Working all day/week and then going to a 2-hour class at night is hard on this pregnant lady!

Saturday I had breakfast with friends and then ran some shopping errands.  Anthony had the weekend off again (gasp), and was busy at home shampooing carpets and cleaning and doing his own "nesting."  :)  It was so wonderful to have his help and have him home!  We ate lunch out, and ran some more errands, then went to dinner at one of our favorite places.  I can for sure tell when I have done too much/am tired though, because the Braxton Hicks contractions kick in like nobody's business!  A couple of times I had to go to the bathroom to breathe through them so I didn't look like a crazy person to the people in the restaurant!  They always go away though when I am able to rest and lay down, so no real thing here yet I don't think!

Sunday was more cleaning and organizing, and nap time.  The weather was just glorious - I am so excited that it is Fall!  My favorite time of year by far.

I even took the day off Monday to wrap up the last few things on my "to-do" list, and I am happy to say I think we are about done folks!  My hospital bags are packed and ready, and the house is organized and purged as much as I can do right now (don't even get me started on our attic, but I haven't been allowed up there for the past 9 months!)

Now, I hope all we have to do is relax and have some fun until Puddin' arrives!  That will begin by having my Dad, Leslee, and Cade down this weekend to finally see his handmade bedding that Leslee is making and have some good family time.  I can't wait!

We also got a sneak peek of my maternity shots this week - so far, so good!  The photographer, Lisa Matthis, is wonderful and will also be doing Puddin's newborn shots when he arrives - newborn pictures are too cute!

My bump doesn't look that big here, but I was 35 weeks and 3 days by then!

P (Pounds gained/lost) - I have my doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we shall see.

R (Really missing) - Not a whole lot right now, I feel so content!

E (Eating this) - Same things, but I am beginning to look forward to eating all the things that have been "off limits" for so long!

G (Gotta … ) - Just hang out and relax...yeah right.  I still haven't learned that.

N (Not gonna lie) - The top part of my belly button sticks out every now and then.  Thank you pierced belly button (back when I was cool).  ;)

A (About Puddin’) - Puddin' is just getting chunkier and chunkier (we hope!)  All of his weight gain will help him to regulate his own body temperature when he is born.  At least I hope any weight gain is going to HIM and not ME :)  He should weigh about 6 1/3 pounds and be over 19 inches long (which sounds like last week to me).  He may even have a head full of hair, but we won't know that until he arrives!  It would be pretty darn amazing if he had blonde hair...hah.  Again, he is full term, but still could use another few weeks of baking.  I was two weeks early, so who knows when he will arrive!

N (Never forget this) - Just savoring the last few weeks Anthony and I will have as just the two of us.  Sometimes I get emotional at the thought, as I still want to continue to follow the God First, Husband Second, Child Third mentality, but I know that will be super hard with a newborn!  And don't get me wrong, Puddin' will be the center of my life, but I believe that a healthy relationship of any fashion begins with God and a strong relationship at home.  Ok, off my soapbox now :)

C (Can’t wait for) -  Seeing the rest of our maternity photos, and our family visit!

Y (Yet to come … ) - Our FOUR year wedding anniversary next week - my how time flies!
