36 Week Appointment

Seems like I just did one of these, and I did!  Yep, I am on weekly appointments from here on out, and they come around so quickly.  It's exciting to get even more checkups on little man, but a little tiring too :)

Today was thankfully another great appointment.  I had to have my Group B Strep test done, which wasn't bad at all, and went ahead and got my whooping cough vaccine so we are ready to go!  My arm is already a bit sore, so I have been doing so entertaining "chicken wing" moves to get the medicine moved out of my muscle.

I also had my first exam today to determine Puddin's position and check for any dilation or anything.  Gleefully she told me she thinks he is head DOWN, so prayers answered!  I can sort of tell now that this was the case, based on a little sharp spot that points out on my right side all the time - now I am guessing this is a tiny foot! :)  And I think I can feel his little rump right up under my rib cage - so crazy to be able to feel body parts now that he is so big!  He still moves a lot, and Anthony got a kick last night out of feeling the super odd little knots I feel when he stretches out.

And as it should be, I am "progressing" but have no dilation - still got a few more weeks before we want any of that!

Some stats:

For me:

Weight gained: About 1.5 pounds.  I have eaten pretty crummy this week which I have no doubt attributes to this!  I am now at about 13.5 pounds gained total (it's sad that I am even counting half pounds...haha).

Blood Pressure: 110/60 - seems to be dropping some towards the end - I will take this rather than the other way!

Fundal height: Right at 36, so Puddin' is on target.

For Puddin':

Heartbeat: 140's.  Doctor only listened for a second, but she is the same one I had the time we got a scare, so she was happy with everything.
