Nolan: 2 Weeks!

It's true what they say about time flying!  I can't believe it has been two weeks since this little man made his debut, and that we have been home for over a week now.  We are slowly but surely trying to settle into somewhat of a routine, but it is still all dictated by him :)

I am solely breastfeeding, so I am usually close by.  Sometimes I get a bit antsy from having to sit still for about an hour every two hours, but overall we have caught onto breastfeeding like champs and I am so thankful for this.  You hear some crazy horror stories about breastfeeding, and I am so thankful that none of that has happened to us so far!

(It's pretty hard to sit up a newborn with no neck control...haha)

N = (Now weighs)  Packing on the weight I can tell; I am starting to see a little double chin and some baby boobies...eek!

O = (Oomph!)  Growth spurts mean lots and lots of eating - and often!  I didn't know they go through them so often, but we will just got with the flow.  I don't even want to describe my daily uniform at home :)  Thank goodness my husband loves me a lot!

L = (Loves)  His G and his Daddy.  Anthony has a song that he has made up for him, and is an absolute champ at comforting him.  I still can't do a whole lot of bouncing/soothing due to my surgery, so he has been getting a lot of good attention from my mom and his Daddy.

A = (About this week)  He is going through a bit of a growth spurt, and has experienced his first walk outside!

N = (Not a fan of) Being gassy.  We think he has a bit of tummy gas going on, which usually leads to some crying, but not a whole lot yet.  It's so hard to see him uncomfortable, so I am going to try and limit some things from my diet to see if that helps.
